We hope that Catch can help plenty of people set up their own personalized safety net to set aside money for taxes, time off, health expenses, family leave, and retirement. 

If you just need to take a break, or if you think you might want to use Catch again later, we highly recommend pausing your plans. When you pause your Catch plan, you'll stop receiving notifications, and you'll have the option to delete your bank link. To pause your plan, simply login to your account and click "pause" on the plan page. 

If you are sure you want to completely close your Catch account, we'll need to make sure you don't have money remaining in any part of your plan. Be sure to withdraw your funds directly from tax and/or time off plans, and send it back to your primary linked bank account. If you have remaining funds in your retirement account, Catch will need to handle this withdraw process for you directly. Given that it is a withdrawal from an IRA, if you are under 59½, you may be subject to IRS penalties for early withdrawal.

Please contact support, help@catch.co, to complete the account closure process. Our team batches these closures on a weekly basis. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully closed.
